AIGA SF Fellows Award Nominations
The AIGA San Francisco Fellow Award recognizes seasoned designers and other major figures who have made a significant contribution to raising the standards of excellence in practice and conduct within the Bay Area design community and the AIGA SF chapter. Our Fellows are honored for their design practice and other contributions in a range of areas, including education, writing, and leadership.
This event not only recognizes our design heritage, but looks to plant seeds for the future as a fundraiser for our Enrichment Scholarship.
The Fellows are honored annually at the Continuum Awards Ceremony. Due to the Covid19 Pandemic we've moved our reception to Fall 2022 while we await guidance from the City of San Francisco.
Nominees should:
- Be a practitioner and/or educator with more than fifteen years experience in the profession.
- Be a member in good standing. Be making or have made a significant contribution to AIGA.
- Be making or have made a positive impact within their local or regional design community.
- Be advancing or have advanced excellence in design as a discipline, profession, and cultural force.
Past Fellows have included: Inaugural members of a chapter. Former chapter presidents and board members. Design professors and department heads. Creative directors. Vendors who’ve significantly supported a chapter. Non-designers who’ve been involved in a chapter for a significant length of time.
